GameFi arcade project Metacade has raised $9.3m in its token presale, with only two rounds remaining before the project’s tokens are released on multiple crypto exchanges. The Metacade (MCADE) token will be the prime method of transaction on the platform, and will enable players to earn a crypto income for playing arcade-style games. Metacade also offers a funding source for developers; proposals submitted to the community are voted on, with the most popular being funded. Metacade aims to offer the ultimate play-to-earn experience for gamers, and is built on blockchain-based play-to-earn mechanics. The platform allows players to earn tokens for gameplay and contributions to the platform, such as sharing knowledge and writing game reviews. Following the presale, Metacade aims to build a community hub for play-to-earn, where gamers can meet, exchange information and compete against each other in tournaments to earn MCADE.
