Metacade, a gaming platform that focuses on community-driven concepts and embraces decentralized autonomous organization ethos, has raised over $10m in its presale. The platform’s MCADE token will enter its penultimate stage of the presale before going public on Bitmart and Uniswap following the presale’s end on March 30. CEO Russell Bennet said that the team’s recent success will drive it forward. Product designer Tyler Lange will also join the team. Following its launch in April 2023, Metacade will offer play-to-earn, create-to-earn and compete-to-earn mechanics to deliver a gameFi product with a broad use case. Metacade will be handed over to the community as a fully decentralized autonomous organization at the end of its roadmap. The platform features polls and ask-me-anything events that allow investors and enthusiasts to guide its direction. Metacade’s Metagrants initiative incentivizes game developers to build platform-specific projects, and the platform encourages members to generate income, build careers, connect with other gamers and play exclusive play-to-earn games. The platform’s specifications and code have been reviewed by leading blockchain auditors Certik to ensure investors’ confidence.
