UTU, a Kenyan blockchain startup, has launched a web browser extension that enables users to review and endorse websites and decentralised apps (DApps). The extension will soon be extended to enable endorsements for unique identifable assets on the internet. Users can also see feedback and endorsements from people within their network. UTU’s decentralised trust infrastructure allows individuals to build their online reputation by staking their reputation behind their feedback about any unique identifable asset. UTU uses artificial intelligence-powered curation of trust signals to deliver to its users to help them make informed decisions about online interactions. UTU rewards its users with UTU Trust Tokens and its cryptocurrency UTU for helping others achieve good outcomes online. UTU Protocol has an initial reward pool of 300 million UTU. The blockchain startup aims to create a safer and more trustworthy Web3 environment. Users can sign up to a waitlist via the UTU website to download the extension.
