The Web3 Conference hosted by Duke University

Duke University’s graduate and undergraduate schools are hosting the 2023 Duke Web3 Conference from April 21-23 in Durham, North Carolina. The event, organized by students and alumni of Duke, features executive speakers from organizations such as BitGo, Cointelegraph, PwC, Ripple, StarkWare and TRM Labs. It aims to bring together individuals of all levels of Web3 literacy to explore the latest developments in the industry, including through panel presentations, keynote speakers, exhibitions, a startup pitch competition and a hackathon. Frank Bolella, co-president of FUQUA Blockchain Club, said the vision for the event is to make it hyper-inclusive. Hermano Crubellati, co-President of the club, said the aim was to establish the university as the educational hub for Web3 in the Southeast US. The conference is sponsored by leading companies such as Ripple, StarkWare, PwC US and Metafide, and tickets are already on sale.
