The Integration of AI and Blockchain by Solana through ChatGPT Plugin

Solana Labs has developed ChatGPT, a plugin that it claims is the first layer-1 download to integrate blockchain with artificial intelligence (AI). The product, which is available through a Github download, provides a text interface that can identify objects on blockchain, according to Solana Labs CEO Anatoly Yakovenko. He said the product was aimed at users running transactions within a ChatGPT loop. The company’s Tweet announcing the rollout received an enthusiastic response, but Yakovenko did not address security threats to the software, which according to Meta’s Guy Rosen is a favourite target for hackers. Since March, Meta has blocked more than 1,000 malicious web addresses claiming links to ChatGPT or related tools.
