ScalingX, a Web3 developer community and accelerator, has joined forces with Buidlbox, an end-to-end hackathon platform, to launch a virtual coding event called “The Hunt for X” ZK Hackathon. The event invites developers and innovators from around the globe to submit their proposals and solutions to explore Zero-Knowledge Proof technology as a blockchain scaling solution. The three-week event features a prize pool of $40,500 and runs from April 12th to May 5th. The event aims to attract top talent in the Web3 network space to leverage their creativity to empower the development of this novel niche. Judges and mentors from leading organizations such as Coinbase, ConsenSys, and StarkWare will evaluate the feasibility, creativity, and potential impact of the submissions.
Participants have the opportunity to present their project to the panel at the Demo Day scheduled for May 10. The event provides a unique opportunity for any interested party worldwide to participate in building the future of Web3. Winners will also receive incubation support and access to funding opportunities. The “The Hunt for X” Hackathon features multiple challenges, with the first challenge involving projects that leverage ZKP to scale the Web3 ecosystem and has a prize pool of $36,000.
