OpenAI Launches ChatGPT Mobile Application for iOS Users

OpenAI has launched a mobile app for its artificial intelligence-powered ChatGPT platform on iOS that will also be made available on Android. The app is only currently available in the US, but will be rolled out to other countries. ChatGPT is used for professional and personal endeavours, but there have been fears over sensitive information being leaked. Samsung banned its staff from using AI after a data leak via ChatGPT, while Apple has restricted usage, with regulators and individuals are concerned about the consequences of the technology. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has asked for AI to be regulated due to the technology’s potential impact on the economy, job market and election interference.
