OKX Chain’s Hackathon offers over $600K in rewards for creative DApps

Cryptocurrency exchange OKX has announced its first-ever hackathon, co-hosted by Google Cloud. The event, held on March 24–26 in Santa Clara, California, challenges developers to build decentralised applications (DApps) on OKX Chain, a leading Ethereum Virtual Machine and inter-blockchain communication-compatible blockchain. The hackathon will award over $600,000 in prizes and invites participants of all experience levels to conceptualise and construct DApps with utility on OKX Chain, targeting a mainstream audience. Projects will be evaluated on problem scope, design and user experience, smart contract engineering, frontend and backend engineering, and composability. Judges include business leaders from OKX, GitHub, Gitcoin, Unstoppable Domains, and OnePiece Labs. The hackathon will incorporate workshops, keynote speeches, panel discussions, and a demo day where participants will pitch their ideas and compete for prizes. Teams of one to four people can register through March 23. Registration is free and open on OKX’s website. The event provides an opportunity for both novice and experienced blockchain developers to gain practical experience and connect with peers who share similar interests.
