A US satellite designed to track space junk will be launched into orbit on Thursday. The Geosynchronous Space Situational Awareness Programme (GSSAP) will be carried into space by a United Launch Alliance Delta IV rocket, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The Lockheed Martin-built GSSAP is intended to provide the US with better situational awareness of its orbital environment. Its advanced sensors will allow it to identify and track man-made objects near the geosynchronous orbit. There is no word on how much the programme cost.

How to Choose the Perfect Wedding Dress That Flatters Your Body Type
Planning your dream wedding can be both fun and overwhelming, especially when it comes to choosing the perfect wedding dress. With so many styles, fabrics, and trends to choose from, it’s easy to get lost in the sea of options. But fear not, dear bride-to-be, with a little bit of guidance, you can find the perfect wedding dress that flatters your body type and makes you feel confident and beautiful on your special day.
Understanding Your Body Type
Before you start trying on beautiful wedding dresses, it’s important to understand your body type. There are five basic body types: hourglass, pear, apple, inverted triangle, and rectangle. Knowing your body type will help you choose a dress style that flatters your curves and hides potential problem areas.
Hourglass
If your hips and bust are approximately the same width and you have a defined waist, you have an hourglass body type. Emphasizing your waistline with a fitted gown or a dress that cinches at the waist is the way to go.
Pear
If your hips are wider than your bust and you have a defined waist, you have a pear-shaped body. A wedding dress with a flared skirt or an A-line silhouette will balance out your curves.
Apple
If your bust is wider than your hips and you carry most of your weight in your mid-section, you have an apple-shaped body. Choose a wedding dress with a define waistline, soft A-line skirt, or an empire waist to create the illusion of a slimmer waist.
Inverted Triangle
If your shoulders are wider than your hips and you have a straight waist, you have an inverted triangle body. A dress that emphasizes your waist and flares at your hips will balance out your upper body.
Rectangle
If your bust, waist, and hips are about the same width, you have a rectangle-shaped body. A wedding dress with a defined waist or a ball gown style with a full skirt will create curves.
Trying on Dresses
Now that you’ve identified your body type, it’s time to try on some dresses. Don’t be afraid to try on different styles and fabrics until you find the perfect match. And remember, what looks good on a hanger might not look the same on you.
To make your dress shopping experience more fun and efficient, make sure to book an appointment with a bridal boutique or a dressmaker in advance. Bring along a few trusted friends or family members to help you make the right choice. And most importantly, choose a dress that feels comfortable and makes you feel like the most beautiful bride in the world.
Final Thoughts
Choosing the perfect wedding dress can be an overwhelming process, but don’t let it take away from the excitement of planning your special day. Knowing your body type and trying on different styles will make the process easier and more enjoyable. So embrace your unique beauty and find the perfect dress that flatters your body type.
