Public Testnet Release by Venom Foundation

Abu Dhabi Global Market-based blockchain Venom has launched a public testnet in preparation for its eventual mainnet opening. Developers can use the testnet to create new decentralised applications (DApps) and blockchain protocols, while users can sample existing DApps to experience “firsthand” how Venom operates. Users can access the testnet by downloading the Venom wallet on mobile or desktop devices, with a free allocation provided. Venom claims a network speed of 100,000 transactions per second and touts its “dynamic sharding” quality, which enhances scalability and network reliability. DApps including VenomPools and Oasis.Gallery will debut on the platform.
