Unleashing the Secrets of Cosmos: A Beginner’s Guide by @cryptocito and @IvanOnTech

Cryptocito, a Cosmos content creator, spoke with an interviewer about entering the crypto space and his involvement in the Cosmos ecosystem. He notes how he got into crypto early on and had to do extensive research to understand how money and banks work. Cryptocito talks about his journey into the Cosmos ecosystem and how it was a welcoming space for him. He also highlights the security measures needed for building an app chain on Cosmos, explaining how projects can either spin up their own validator set for security or use IBC, which is an interoperability protocol connecting sovereign blockchains.

Understanding the World of Cosmos with Content Creator, Cryptocito

If you’re looking to learn more about Cosmos and its potential as a digital currency platform, you’ll want to check out Cryptocito on YouTube. As a specialized content creator, Cryptocito delves deep into the world of Cosmos and provides insights and knowledge about the platform’s capabilities. In this article, we’ll provide an overview of Cryptocito’s journey into the world of cryptocurrency and a brief discussion about his thoughts on Cosmos.

How Cryptocito Got into Crypto

Cryptocito began his journey into the world of cryptocurrency back in 2017. As an economics student at the time, he was curious about the concept of cryptocurrency and its financial benefits. Despite initial skepticism about investing in crypto, Cryptocito was enticed by Bitcoin’s potential and began his research. Over the course of six months, he watched countless YouTube videos to learn about how crypto worked, how banks worked, and the basics of money.

After gaining a solid understanding of crypto, Cryptocito bought his first crypto coins and continued to educate himself on the industry. He remained active in the community even during the bear markets of 2018 and 2019. It was during this tough economic period that Cryptocito realized he wanted to work in the cryptocurrency industry full-time.

Becoming a Content Creator

When the 2020 pandemic hit, Cryptocito took it as an opportunity to buy a camera and microphone and start creating cryptocurrency content. He shared his personal experiences with crypto, including his mistakes and scams. Cryptocito wanted to educate others on the pitfalls they might face in the industry and how to overcome them. He started building a following, which eventually led him to ask about why he had an “atom” in his wallet.

Discovering Cosmos

In late 2020 or early 2021, Cryptocito tweeted about the atom he had in his wallet, asking someone to explain it to him. To his surprise, a core developer from Cosmos named Jack Sample replied to his tweet and offered to explain what the atom was, the benefits of interoperability, and how Cosmos worked. This was before IBC went live, and Cryptocito felt fortunate to have the opportunity to talk directly with a developer from the Cosmos team.

After several conversations with Jack Sample and other developers, Cryptocito became hooked on Cosmos. He invested time in learning about the philosophy and security behind Cosmos, and built a validator with two other friends that has validated on over 30 chains, mostly in Cosmos.

Overview of Cosmos

For those unfamiliar with Cosmos, it’s a decentralized network of independent blockchains that are connected via Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol. Each blockchain on the Cosmos network is known as an “app chain,” and developers can create custom app chains that can connect with other app chains on the network. This allows for comprehensive, secure, and decentralized applications to be developed without relying on a central authority.

One of the advantages of Cosmos is its philosophy of interoperability. Rather than believing that there will be a single coin to rule them all, Cosmos acknowledges that there are numerous great alternatives. While some early projects developed their own unique security model (using their validators to validate their own chain), Cosmos now has a shared security model which enables validators to validate multiple chains.

Overall, Cryptocito believes that Cosmos is a welcoming, inclusive space with a strong community and active development. If you’re interested in delving deeper into the world of Cosmos, Cryptocito’s YouTube channel is an excellent resource for further education.
