Northern Lightning 2023 – Norway’s Bitcoin adventure could be the most exciting yet

Norway has become the largest Bitcoin mining hub in Europe, and is now hosting an intimate Bitcoin conference called Northern Lightning 2023. Taking place in Bergen from March 17-19, the conference features keynotes, workshops, dinners, and meetups with some of the greatest minds in Bitcoin, including Hodlonaut, Knut Svanholm, and Peter Todd. Merch will be limited to 21 numbered copies, and the aim is to create an annual Bitcoin experience in a new Nordic city each year. One of the highlights of the conference will be an all-night rave with hundreds of no-coiners set to use Lightning for the first time, headlined by Norway’s leading electronic artists. The venue for the rave is Smien Laksevåg Verft, Bergen’s oldest ship wharf, with a free welcome drink, sauna use, and all-night barbecue. Northern Lightning is family-oriented, with a kids’ corner and workshop that aims to educate young minds about Bitcoin. The main conference pass is almost sold out, but limited passes will still be available. The conference will be covered by Cointelegraph.
